Workers' Compensation Expedited Hearings at the Utah Labor Commission
The statues and rules governing workers' compensation require an expedited hearing to be held in two types of workers' compensation cases:
- Requests to terminate or reduce compensation
- Requests to resolve disputes over failure to cooperate with or diligently pursue a
reemployment plan in a permanent total disability compensation case
The Adjudication Division does not hold expedited hearings in any other type of case. The process for expedited hearings differs from non-expedited cases. Follow the links below for information about expedited hearings.
